Nation War (Mission War) is the big PvP event of Cabal Online: Capella against Procyon on a huge map, with towers, bases and hundreds of players deciding who rules Nevareth for the next week. It is also one of the best sources of EXP, honor and war points in the game. Here is how it works, step by step, on Cabal Latino.
Requirements to take part
- Belong to a nation: Capella or Procyon. You choose it from level 52 with a quest in your town.
- Minimum level 52 and class rank 6 (rank quests come every few levels; if you keep up with them you will have no problem).
- Have the Alz for the entry fee of your bracket in your inventory.
Level brackets
To keep the war fair, players are split into level brackets. Each bracket has its own war, with its own entry fee in Alz:
| Group | Levels | Group | Levels |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 52 to 79 | 4 | 140 to 169 |
| 2 | 80 to 109 | 5 | 170 to 199 |
| 3 | 110 to 139 | 6 | 200 |
The level 200 group fights in Tierra Gloriosa and Memoria Chrysos, and the level 200 maps also require a minimum attack power.
How to enter
- A few minutes before each war the system notifies your whole nation. Click the notice (or the war icon) to enter the lobby.
- In the lobby the fee is deducted, you get an entry number and you can form a party. No PK and no costumes: on entering you wear your nation's battle uniform.
- When the war starts you spawn at your nation's base. The GPS map is replaced by the strategy map with each side's towers and points.
- If you disconnect you can come back through channel selection, but if you score no points in 5 minutes the system kicks you out.
How you win
Each nation scores by killing enemies, building and defending arcane towers and capturing the bases on the map. Towers are the key: they buff allies, attack and weaken enemies, resurrect and teleport. There are large, medium and small towers, they are built with points or Alz and repaired by pressing R on them (while repairing you cannot do anything else). If one nation pulls far ahead, the war ends early by “called game”.
The round is settled 30 seconds after the end. Rewards arrive by mail according to your personal score and your nation's: EXP, war points, honor and items.
Bonus for the winning nation
The nation that wins the week's bonus war gets advantages on every map: higher drop rate, more EXP, more skill EXP and more AXP, plus an exclusive warp point. That is why the Saturday night wars fill up.
Battlefield rules (summary)
- There is no death penalty inside the war.
- You cannot trade with the opposing nation or change your name.
- Costumes, guide stones and guild war are disabled inside.
- Leaving the battlefield on your own puts your Battle Modes on cooldown when you re-enter.
Tips for your first wars
- Move with the group. Alone, you are a point for the enemy; with five teammates, you are a walking tower.
- Build and repair towers even if you do not hit hard: they give points and win wars.
- Use Battle Mode at the right moment, usually when assaulting or defending a base, not in the first duel you see.
- Choose your nation with your guild or your friends: the war is twice as fun when you know the people on your side.

FAQ
What level do you need to enter the Nation War in Cabal Online?
You need to belong to a nation (Capella or Procyon), which is chosen through a quest in your city. If you're not there yet, the beginner's guide takes you all the way there.
What happens if I don't score points during the war?
If you stop scoring points, the system kicks you out of the battlefield. Points are earned by killing enemies, building and defending force towers and capturing bases, and if you get disconnected you can rejoin through channel selection.
Are Nation War, War of Nations and Mission War the same thing?
Yes, they are different names for the same Cabal Online PvP event, also known as Nation War: Capella versus Procyon on a map with towers and bases. If you don't have a nation yet, Capella or Procyon helps you choose.
