Go to Mutant Forest and look for the Glowing Stone. You were told that the Mutant Forest can also be reached through the Warp Gate near the Moscutter Queen Lair in Green Despair.
The Wandering Specter of the Homesick Forest. Could it be that I'm the one who can change their mind?
Dialogue
Offer: Schuteberk (Officer)
Long time no see. Have you been training hard? I'm happy to see that you have leveled up so much.
Today, I'll tell you about a newly discovered land beyond Green Despair.
I'm sure it will serve as a great training ground for you.
- Please tell me more about the new land.
- I'm not interested. I'll pass.
Polis Industria is the largest polis in our colony located north of the Pastur Continent.
There is a forest in the central east region of the continent called the Forest of Lost Homeland.
There are big climate changes in the forest, and the first settlers had to sacrifice a lot.
That's why they gave the forest the name, which means 'Shedding Tears in Longing for Homeland before the Great Destruction'.
It's also often called the World Forest.
- Keep listening to the story about the Forest of Lost Homeland.
It was nick named the World Forest because there are Endless Arrays of Giant Trees that are here and there just like signposts.
The plantation there is very strange. There can be coniferous trees in one spot, but then you'll also see deciduous trees or tropical trees another.
So at the end, they couldn't form a stable living site and were forced to fan out. This is why Polis Industria became as big as you can see today.
- I see.
So far Green Despair has been the only place confirmed around this place,
But we were able to find a new forest beyond the mutated jungle after continuous exploration.
It was due to the efforts of Capella and Procyon Federations in exploring all over Nevareth, both of which spared no manpower and resources ever since the Sage Tower has been dismantled.
And after they've discovered that there is an Important Historical Site deep in this forest, it was proclaimed as a Disputed Region.
- He said the newly discovered forest was proclaimed as a Disputed Region.
But they only think 'It's somewhere in there' as they never discovered it. So fighters from both countries are allowed to enter the place. However, you must be at least level 125. This is because you should be strong enough to survive the monsters there.
You can move to the place through the Warp Gate near the Moscutter Queen Lair.
Oh, by the way, the place is called the Mutant Forest. It was named as such because all the creatures and plants living there are strangely deformed.
- The Mutant Forest...
The best way to learn anything is to experience it.
There are some stones that glow as if they're living creatures at the entrance to the Mutant Forest. They call them the Glowing Stone because the academic circles never had the chance to study them yet.
They say if you examine the Glowing Stones closely, you'll sometimes find a clue to the undiscovered secrets in the Mutant Forest. So go take a look around.
Good luck and be careful.
- Find the Glowing Stone in the Mutant Forest. (accepts the quest)
Turn-in: Glowing Stone
A sentence written in small characters is engraved inside the glowing stone.
- Read the sentence.
Every living thing changes, but the spirits wandering around the Forest of Lost Hometown are still the same even after all the others changed.
The forest will come to live the moment someone who can move the hearts of the hidden ones shows up...
-A prediction by someone who longs for the past -
- This is deep. I'd commit this to memory. (completes the quest)
