To craft a piece of equipment you first register it in a craft slot: Craftsman equipment is registered with a Craftsman's Token and Master equipment with a Master's Token. A registration can be deleted to register something else, but the mastery of that slot goes back to zero. Quests from Craft Merchant Chloe give the tokens: Craftsman Craft Course 101 gives a Craftsman's Token, New Material Development Support gives a Chloe's Token and Master Craft Course 101 gives a Master's Token.
Craft mastery
Craft mastery has 11 levels and goes up with craft EXP (40 base per recipe). To level up you need 100% of the EXP. No recipe requires more than level 8; recipe chances go up to level 11.
