  1. With the Huan war starting, the monsters are said to expand their lairs so fast that it has become uncontrollable. A report says that even the Forgotten Ruins monsters have intruded the town through warp portals and the situation has become very serious. Defeat the Giant Scorpion in Forgotten Ruins and meet Black bard in The 4th Gate

  2. The man named Black Bard said things that did not make sense, just like sage Sirius. The Two Justice that will be caused by the Disruption of the Human and The Age of the Human will be achieved...It seems that we are facing a great change.

Dialogue

Offer: Cox (Warehouse Keeper)

The news coming into the Nevareth Port Service is somehow a bit unusual.

As we handle a great deal of information, it is apparent, according to news from the various branches, that all of Nevareth is currently experiencing considerable hardship.

Do you want to hear the news from the Cont. Huan?

  • Yes, please inform me of the latest developments.

You are aware that a war has arisen between Judin and Medinak, are you not? Also, that there is a temporary cease fire.

However, all parties are tiring as the investigation into the interference of demons is going at a snail's pace.

What's more, there are rumors that the mercenary armies contracted by each polis are inciting a restart of combat as they fear becoming out of work.

  • Please, tell me more

Amid such circumstances, there are reports from various places that demons are wreaking havoc. You know, don't you? That their numbers must be maintained at orderly levels.

It seems that being on such useless standby status for so long has led to the inevitable neglect of such needs.

Though the situation is slightly less dire in the combat colonies that have many trainees, that of the regular colonies is extremely serious.

  • The problem appears very serious.

Furthermore, many demon lairs scattered about have abruptly swelled in size to great proportions...

On top of that, there are reports that some demons from the Forgotten Ruin, where excavation was temporarily discontinued due to the war, have apparently passed through the portal and entered Desert Scream.

  • The demons from the Forgotten Ruin...?

Though fighters were dispatched belatedly to try to tidy up the situation, the toll on the army forces taken by the war, as temporary as it was, seems to have been quite heavy.

The demons in the Forgotten Ruin are all so powerful that facing them is surely a difficult task.

In particular, the very poisonous Giant Scorpion is almost untouchable.

Could you, by chance, be of assistance?

  • I shall take the challenge.

It will be a very difficult task...

Though I received this request, to be honest, I was not holding out much hope of finding anyone who could fulfill it.

If you will truly go to that place, make sure you arm yourself to the fullest extent possible. This of course includes potions.

Then, I shall inform you of the way to go to the Forgotten Ruin. Even if you already know, it would behove you to listen closely one more time.

  • Listen to the way to go to the Forgotten Ruin.

To access the Forgotten Ruin, enter the portal in the Lug Queen lair, and then follow the road for a while.

Then again, please exert extra caution as the place is extremely dangerous.

  • Go to Forgotten Ruin. (accepts the quest)
In progress: Cox (Warehouse Keeper)

There is so much talk of the world witnessing the resurrection of the Lord of Destruction and the meaningless shedding of blood over frivolous conflicts for land, and so on, and so on...

Which, if any, is true? What must be done to ensure a righteous path?

Honestly, the Dire Destruction in the past is something that just feels so distant.

The most tangible needs for survival, those are what we inevitably materialistic humans keep sight of most.

  • Matters will get more dire if the war were to restart.
In progress: Black Bard

It seems you have come through someone's introduction.

As one cannot come here often, you are lucky.

It would appear that you have a requested duty.

It is not wise to take on a task and then make the one who requested wait.

Go and take care of the matter first, and then return again.

  • I should go to the Forgotten Ruin first.
Turn-in: Black Bard

Sirius, he must had a presentiment about his own destiny... He sent you to me.

Hum... Do not inquire about my identity.

Haha.

Yes, as you may know, Nevareth stands on the threshold of momentous change.

Whether this turbulent phase will end with the realization of a true sovereignty, or with a futile collapse in the name of another Dire Destruction, it is all in the hands of your guardian knights.

Perhaps, it will not be too late to worry about this after the Lord of Destruction has been subdued.

  • What sort of momentous change...?

You all may succumb to disintegration.

If such a day were to come and it cannot be avoided.

This is because it would not transpire from some 'order' of any superior strength, but instead would be from your own 'choice'.

Perhaps, it may serve as a key to a new beginning for you all.

Whatever choice is made, you will all come to guard a new justice of your own.

  • A chosen disintegration...

I hope that you will maintain a clear subjectivity, so that you do not regret your own choice.

Sirius, my friend, I just wondering, now he can rest in peace there...

The path laid by the star is dispersing.

Now for sure, it seems that your Age of Humans is coming.

  • Age of Humans, own justice, new beginning, and disintegration for all... (completes the quest)
