Quest journal
Elena is urgently looking for you.
Elena recommends you head to the Quarters to look for clues. The Quarters are in Desert Scream.
Things are strewn across the room in disarray.
It all looks very suspicious.
For some reason the picture looks like it might offer a clue.
The owner of this picture might be the key to finding the culprit.
Dialogue
Offer: Entrance to Elena's Room
Elena is urgently calling you.
Hurry and see her.
- Go inside (accepts the quest)
Step 1: Elena
There you are!!! Phew.
Something reeeally bad almost happened!
- What is it?
The Sage was almost kidnapped yesterday at dawn.
Several unidentified assailants suddenly came at the Sage, covered his mouth and tried to haul him away.
Thankfully I was in the room next door, so he was unharmed...
- How could that be? Have you learned anything about who was responsible?
Unfortunately, nothing.
But the Sage
seems to have someone in mind.
At any rate, it seems we'll need you to take care of this, Warrior.
- Could she be referring to Guard Miles...?
Please head to the Quarters for now.
Look for something that will serve as a clue to help catch the culprit.
Just so you know, the Sage is currently recuperating and isn't in his Quarters.
- Understood.
Step 2: Odd Water Bottle
Things around here seem a bit more cluttered than they were before.
It paints a picture of what happened last night.
It would be best to look around the room some more.
- Isn't there something here that could serve as evidence?
Step 3: Odd Flower Pot
Nothing really stands out, but the room looks suspicious.
Hmm, there must be something...
- Look around a little more.
Step 4: Odd Picture Frame
Hmm, the picture in this frame seems unusual for some reason.
Maybe you should look at it more closely?
- Take a detailed look.
Oh, upon further inspection this picture looks somewhat crude.
It definitely looks like something a child would have drawn... Huh? Is this a fake picture?
This appears to be an important clue of some kind. You'd better take this with you.
- Take the picture.
Who is the owner of this picture?
For some reason this seems like the key to finding the culprit.
- Quest Complete (completes the quest)
