Quest journal
Sage Aldebaran wants to talk to you about the shining card you found at the Relic Research Zone.
Where did Sage Sirius go? Ask the 8th Sage Veradrix at Desert Scream Residence.
The last person who saw Sage Sirius was Desert Scream Core Alchemist Sullivan. Pay her a visit.
Visit warehouse guard Cox since he spent a long time talking to Sage Sirius.
Visit grocer Eillen who received a letter from Sage Sirius.
Seems Sage Sirius was very close to Eillen. Wait for Eillen to find the letter.
Dialogue
Offer: Investigators' Camp Entrance
Aldebaran is looking for you.
- Go into the camp. (accepts the quest)
Step 1: Aldebaran
You know the card that you have brought from the historical site?
I think we need the wisdom of Great Sage Sirius who has disappeared to identify this card.
- Great Sage Sirius?
When I say Great Sage Sirius, I actually mean former sage Sirius.
He suddenly disappeared one day after giving his position to current Sage Sirius.
No one know why and where he disappeared to.
- How can I find a missing person?
Oh, I thought you had more challenging spirit than this..
You should find a way yourself!
But you never know. The special power you have that moved the card that no one else could might lead you to the missing former Sage Sirius.
Trust your power.
- Are you saying I have some special power?
I don't know either. The special power is yours and not mine. Hahahahaha!
If the special power of yours don't tell you where to go, you'll end up running around with your feet. Kekeke!
First of all, take this Shining Card.
Patience is bitter, but the fruit is sweet. Ho ho!
Go see Veradrix in the Desert Scream residence.
- Go ask Veradrix.
Step 2: Veradrix
Sage Sirius?
You must be looking for Sirius because of the relic you have found in the Historical Site Zone 2, right?
- Yes, that's right.
Hmm..Sirius is a special person to both Aldebaran and me.
I know one thing that Aldebaran doesn't. It's that the last person Sirius met is Sullivan.
Go see her.
- Go see Sullivan.
Step 3: Sullivan (Core Alchemist)
Yes, it's true that I'm the last person who met former Sage Sirius.
We didn't talk about anything specific except that he's asked me if there were any special symbols on one of the Core Alchemist Books.
- Special Symbols?
Well.. I'm not sure, but I think he was looking for something.
I'm really not sure what it is though.
Oh, by the way, he said he talked to Cox before he came see me.
Go see him if you want to find out more.
I'm kind of busy so please excuse me..
- Go see Cox.
Step 4: Cox (Warehouse Keeper)
Who?
Former Sage Sirius?
Hmm.. Why are you asking about him?
- I have something very important to tell him.
Hmm.. I don't know..
Whew! Well, people like me won't have the chance to meet him in our lifetime, but then he came to see me in the middle of the night without letting anyone know.
And he's secretly sent a message to grocer Eillen.
I don't know what it was about. Well..If you're curious, you can go ask Eillen and her brother.
- Go meet Eillen.
Step 3, afterwards: Sullivan (Core Alchemist)
Well.. I'm not sure, but I think he was looking for something.
I'm really not sure what it is though.
Oh, by the way, he said he talked to Cox before he came see me.
Go see him if you want to find out more.
I'm kind of busy so please excuse me..
- Go see Cox.
Step 4, afterwards: Cox (Warehouse Keeper)
Go ask Eillen and Her Brother if you want to know more.
- Okay.
Turn-in: Eillens (Grocer)
Oh.. The letter that Sirius sent?
Of course I remember.
Sage Sirius took care of me and my brother when he had the position. It was just a good-bye letter saying that he really needs to do something.
- A good-bye letter?
Yes. I guess he was worried about us before he left.
And.. He did tell me how we can contact him if something urgent comes up that can't be solved by Aldebaran or Veradrix.
- Are you sure?
Yes. But we don't know what kind of method it is either.
It's because he put the message written with the method in the item warehouse.
I'll let you know as soon as we found out.
I can't say no because your eyes tell me that you're desperate.
- Okay. Thanks. I'll wait for you. (completes the quest)
