Dialogue

Offer: Morison (Officer)

You've seem to have been busy lately.

Let me tell you this: in the past, incidents happening in the continent didn't affect us much, but lately we've been having a lot of trouble coming across the ocean.

In the last month, a large group of travelers came to our town. And now they're missing. According to witnesses, they appeared to be a kind of religious group. We're currently conducting an investigation about the missing case, but I have a bad feeling about it.

Then again this week, I've got an unexpected letter from two sages of the Sage Tower.

  • Let's listen what letter he's received from the Sage Tower. (accepts the quest)

As you know, there are seven sages in the Sage Tower.

You may have heard about the three sages that are respected as the spiritual leaders Sage Procyon of the largest continent Huan, Sage Capella of Pastur Continent, and Sage Pollux of Midreth Continent.

Among them, Sage Pollux is the only one who takes no interest in politics. Basically Sage Capella and Procyon are the actual influence.

  • Is the letter from Sage Capella and Procyon?

Yes, and it troubles me.

We don't have any actual relation to either one of the continents, but I'm worried-especially now as Great Sage Sirius is absent-that their plan has a high possibility of putting this Nevareth in danger.

Each one of them is recruiting Nevarethians that support their political goals, which basically splits the people into two factions. The idea is to bring peace and prosperity to Nevareth by gaining more power under their command, but...

I don't know if it turns out to be as exactly as they say. Well, I may worry too much.

  • Sage Capella and Procyon are recruiting supporters.

At the same time, I think

they may be able to make great changes, bringing another prosperous age to this continent that would remind us the spirit of the Nevaretian frontiers, if their plan really succeeds.Considering how perilous world we're living in, joining one of the sages and having people on my side may not be a bad idea.

Separating into two factions, however, means disputes and that's what I'm worried about.

  • After all, everything comes with a price.

Let me ask you a question:

what are you fighting for?Since the Great Destruction, Nevareth has been suffering disorder and disputes and countless warriors were killed in vain.

If you have no idea what you're fighting for, you won't last long. Even veteran warriors need someone to rely on.

  • What am I fighting for?

Do you have an answer for my question?

If you do, I suggest you to go with the flow and join one of the sages. I understand it is a difficult decision to make, but being in a group is a huge advantage to you in the sense of security and growth.

As an officer of a colony under direct command of the Sage Tower, I'm assigned to deliver the propositions of Sage Capella and Procyon to warriors.

If you want, I can help you to choose either one of the sages and fight for what you want.

But remember; as soon as you declare your choice, you'll make yourself involved in a great war of the age.

  • A war has begun.

Whichever side you choose, I want you to continue doing your best to achieve your goal.

From now on, you'll be affected by the current of the times whether or not you want it.

That means you'll have to fight people that don't agree with you and your faction.

Or one day, you might have to turn against your people... Until then, I hope you'll do your best to stand by your decision.

  • I'd like to choose a sage.

Do you want to declare which sage's side you're on? Good.

The sages have a different goal from each other.

Sage Capella wants to make this world where everyone gets paid as much as they've tried.

And Sage Procyon wants to unite this entire world under his government.

I'm not allowed to express my opinion freely-as I'm an officer working for the Sage Tower, but I think either sage has a fair chance to succeed their goal.

Now, which sage would you like to choose?

  • I will support Sage Capella. (chooses Capella, completes the quest)
  • I will support Sage Procyon. (chooses Procyon, completes the quest)

Of course, only if the two factions can coexist peacefully.
