Turn-in: Prewitt (Weapon Dealer)
Oh, it's you! It's been a while!
So, how have you been?
What brings you here this time?
- Have you heard of the Tragedy of Ice?
The Tragedy of Ice?
Oh, you must be talking about the earth-bound spirit that shows up in the Ice Cave over there.
- The earth-bound spirit in the Ice Cave?
That's right. You know that the man who came back to life as ice melted over the bonfire after being frozen like ice loved the spirit of the cave.
They say the last time the spirit was seen was right before the man woke up. A patrol guard who was dozing off in front of the bonfire claims that he saw a spirit caressing the man who was frozen in the wall, crying sadly.
- Why did she cry sadly?
Well, I have no way of knowing since no one had the chance to talk to the spirit yet. But I kind of understand how she felt.
Think about it, she froze the man to save him by using all her powers, but now that he's still a living person and she's the spirit of a dead person. They can never be together like this you know. Just imagine how she would feel about this.
She couldn't be with the man she loved when she was alive, and now she still can't be with the man she loves even when she's dead. What a tragic destiny she has!
- I see.
Anyway, they say the man woke up, but the spirit hasn't shown up yet.
In my opinion, I think she wants him to forget her and return to the living world and live happily since she had to try so hard to save his life.
Whew! Poor thing. Sob. Oh, why am I crying like this? Sob. This is so embarrassing! Please don't tell others that I cried.
- Okay, I won't tell. (completes the quest)
