The Sage's Sacrifice

Warrior? What's wrong?

You don't look good.

• It seems like I've made a mistake.
• Let's not talk right now.

What? What mistake are you talking about?

• I'll be straightforward about this. I met someone called Turner.

What? Did you... really just say that name?

You mean the Turner I know?

The disciple of Aldebaran?

• Yes, that's right.

Turner...!

The fact that you met him means he's finally escaped.

I'm hoping that I'm wrong, but did he already meet Aizhan?

• ... Unfortunately, they met.

It seems like the worst-case scenario has finally happened.

Where is Aizhan right now?

• I'm sorry. Turner took her inside the Senea Tower.

This is bad. The fact that you didn't say anything... was probably all part of Turner's scheme.

I was too reckless.

I should have trusted you more, Warrior.

• After your reaction, I feel even more ashamed.

I never told you about what happened between me and Aizhan.

If you wouldn't mind, I could tell you about the first time I met Aizhan.

I'm going to need Leedy's help.

Will you go to Leedy with me?

• Go to Leedy. (accepts the quest)

Ah, Sage, and Warrior.

Did something... happen?

Neither of you look good.

• You're right. I've made a big mistake.

What? What mistake?

• Turner took Elena and Aizhan and shut the door to the tower!

Really?? So...

You mean that Aizhan and Elena have been kidnapped?

Their power is going to awaken soon...!

• Right, that's what I mean.

What should we do, Sage?

I was really hoping that this wouldn't happen...!

• Listen to what the Sage has to say.

Leedy, I think I made a big mistake.

I should have told the Warrior about the first time we met.

• Listen to the next story.

After Patren was sealed, I started exploring outside of the conflicted continent of Nevareth...

That's how we ended up discovering the new continent of Senillinea.

We tried our best to settle there, but we weren't able to do much because of the natives and the sacred animals.

So Sage Procyon and I joined forces and entered that same tower in the middle of the continent.

• Listen to the next story

We saw something surprising inside the tower.

It was the remnants of Prometheus...!

Surprisingly, Prometheus used the tower as a base for their research.

It was during a time when nobody knew what was across the Senea Ocean, and that was probably part of their plan to keep the base hidden.

• I heard that from Leedy, too.

That's when I first met Leedy.

He was one of the Senillinean researchers chosen by the Prometheus organization.

He was branded as a traitor to the Senillineans and was left isolated inside the tower after Prometheus left.

Leedy was the youngest, but was picked to be a researcher early.

• Listen to the next story

Procyon and I heard from Leedy that he had helped Prometheus.

At the time, the Lord of Destruction had vanished, but we had a feeling the Prometheus organization was waiting for their time to rise again.

We have different ideologies, but there was one thing that we could agree to work on.

• The comeback of Prometheus...!

In order to protect Nevareth from the Prometheus organization,

we agreed that the Absolute Soul Core power they sought, the Lord of Destruction's Power, would need to be split up and carried by both of us.

• It was a dangerous choice!

Yes, that's right... I've regretted that decision for a long time. Just thinking about the consequences of that decision!

However, we couldn't think of another way since the Prometheus organization was going after the Absolute Soul Core's power.

• Listen to what Leedy has to say.

I was chosen by Sage Rigel.

After the Lord of Destruction vanished, that organization, Prometheus, kept researching the Absolute Soul Core's power.

• I see... you worked together with Sage Rigel.

As soon as Sage Rigel disappeared, Prometheus was shaken.

That's when the two sages came to this continent.

Elena and Aizhan were both inside the tower.

• Listen to the next story

Turner was extremely talented with magic.

The sages were able to harness that power in order to summon the Absolute Soul Core's power into the twin psychics.

I gave a strong medicine to the twin psychics in order to put the divided power to rest.

• Was it the medicine that Skaild drank?

Haha, yes. That medicine was definitely made by me, too. He drank just a little of it, but...

The power was much stronger than I thought.

Aizhan lost all of her memories and her power was subdued.

However, the medicine wasn't effective on Elena, and it ended up amplifying her uncontrollable power.

• Listen to the next story.

That's why we forced Elena into isolation for a long time.

It was unfortunate that Aizhan's memory had been fragmented, but Elena had to handle everything on her own... It's really heartbreaking.

• Listen to what the Sage has to say.

There's only one way to resolve this whole situation.

Leedy, Sage Procyon, and I need to go inside the tower, stop Turner, and save the twin psychics.

• Listen to the next story.

It looks like Sage Procyon and I will have to work together once again.

Leedy, please find a way to open the gate that will lead us inside the tower.

I'll contact Sage Procyon right away.
