The Illusive Subterranean Cave

I knew you would come: you want to know more about Freed, the guy that was abducted by monsters that were possibly members of the Phantasmal Clan, don't you?

Well, it's intriguing, but who knows? That might just be another groundless rumor. I'm certain of one thing, though: both nations are looking for Freed's Apocalypse Card.

Many warriors have been asking me about what I might know.

Have you come for the same reason?

• It might be about the Apocalypse Card. Listen (accepts the quest)
• This just sounds like a meaningless rumor.

This is a Copy of Illusive Apocalypse in which exclusive details about the Phantasmal Clan are written.

It even contains the location of the Illusion Castle and a list of the clan monsters.

This book is especially valuable nowadays since thousands of warriors are frantically searching for the Phantasmal Clan's stronghold.

Well, you and I have a special relationship, so I can give you a copy of this book under one condition.

• Let's hear her condition first.

All I want you to do is bring me a trace of Freed from the castle if you can. That'll definitely clear up most of the rumors about him.

I believe you're strong enough to explore the castle and bring me any clues leading to Freed. What do you say? Do we have a deal?

• Yes, I can try.

Excellent!

I knew you'd say yes. The other warriors were only interested in finding the Apocalypse Card for themselves. None of them cares about Freed's safety or learning the truth.

Please take this copy with you.

Don't forget your promise to me!

• You have obtained the Copy of Illusive Apocalypse. (completes the quest)
