Whew! Welcome!
You must be still busy.
So, what brings you to this place?
- Do you know anything about the Secret of Ice?
Oh, did you come here after hearing the news too?
Do you still remember the Ice Cave found in the Ice Mountain, and the corpse in the cave?
It took more than 100 days to completely melt down the ice.
- Did you melt all the ice before removing the corpse?
That's right...
But the thing is that we didn't take out the body, it walked out on its own when it's thawed as the ice melted.
- Huh? Are you saying that he was still alive?
Hmm...I know it's hard to believe, but it's true.
The corpse...I mean the person was resurrected.
Oh, even I wouldn't believe it when I'm the one who's telling the story.
The patrol guards were scared out of their wits, but he was so very calm when he told his story to the guards.
- So what happened?
He told them that he used to live in the place filled with trees and colorful flowers before the Great Destruction.
One day, he was hunting when he found the cave, and he fell asleep in there. But when he woke up, he saw that everything around him was frozen. The Great Destruction took place while he was asleep.
Anyway, he came out of the cave to return to the town where he lived, but then he was forced to return to the cave because of a snowstorm. And when he did, the entrance to the cave was blocked.
So he had no choice but to stay in the cave for a couple of days...
- And?
He felt this chilling energy, and then he saw a female spirit staring at him. At first he thought he was having a heart attack, but then he got used to it as the spirit kept on showing up and disappearing.
So he summoned up his courage and started talking to the spirit...and the spirit answered.
That's how they started to talk to each other, and he fell in love with the spirit before he knew it.
- A person and a spirit?
That's what I'm saying. A human and sprit fall in love? Hahaha!
Anyway, being a human, he needed various items unlike the spirit. But the snow covering the cave entrance just won't melt, and he was dying slowly...The spirit felt sorry for him, and instantly froze him with extreme cold. It was a piece of a cake for her.
The spirit couldn't stand watching him die, and that was the best thing she could do at the moment. It's because if you freeze instantly, you would stay alive for thousands of years...
- The spirit must have loved him too.
I think so.
Anyway, he explained to them that's how he came back to life. After that, he simply wouldn't do anything besides calling the spirit's name which is Sylvenia, and he just won't even leave the cave.
He must be waiting for the sprit. Everyone in the cave is wondering if he's going to meet the spirit again and what words will come out of his mouth.
Ha-ha!
If you're interested go see the people and get the news occasionally.
- Okay, I'll do that. (completes the quest)
