Quest journal
Defeat Servant Gargoyle in Porta Inferno, obtain Servant Gargoyle's Egg, and hold a ritual by burning the egg in the Brazier at the entrance. You were told that you can also get to Porta Inferno by using the Warp Gate at the entrance of Port Lux.
It makes you wonder if you'll really be blessed by the god through this ritual.
Dialogue
Offer: Morison (Officer)
You came just in time.
There is something I want to tell you, since your name is so well known throughout Nevareth.
Look at you now! Who would imagine that you couldn't even defeat the Crack Turtles? Ha-ha!
I told you that I've travelled all over Nevareth when I was a young man.
There is a story I haven't told you about yet. Do you want to hear it?
Seeing you leveling up like this reminds me of my young days.
- I really want to hear about it.
- I'm busy right now. Bye.
You met the Dark Clan often, right? You should have, because it's the Most Common Monster in Nevareth including this Colony.
But you should know that there are much more than what you or I have seen.
It was written in one of the books I've read when I was young. It said, Orcs and Gnolls are just low level monsters in the Dark Clan.
Can you believe that?
- Did you just say that the Orcs and Gnolls are low level monsters?
That's right! Ha-ha!
I knew you would be surprised like that.
According to the book, high level monsters in the Dark Clan are more intelligent than humans, particularly in the area of magic.
On top of it, no one knows where they came from, so some people even assume that they came from another dimension.
- I see.
So, now that we're talking about this, didn't I tell you that I've been to everywhere in Nevareth?
I think I've seen the Being too. But the thing is that I ran out of the place as I was overwhelmed by the darkness of the place.
The place is just like the 'Entrance to the Demon World'. I didn't think I would be able to get out of there if I set my foot in there.
- The Entrance to the Demon World...
I can still remember the incident. How will I ever forget the darkness and terror?
Do you want to know why I'm breaking this out to you? I'm trying to hand over my cowardice to you since you're so young and strong.
The place is called the 'Porta Inferno'. I'm telling you this because a strong warrior like you would be able to fight it instead of running away.
- Porta Inferno...
I have asked Researcher Heil so that you can Teleport from the Warp Center outside this town.
Oh, by the way, there is one thing you must do when you go into Port Inferno. You might laugh at it thinking that it's just a superstition, but a number of warriors who have been there are spreading the rumor that you can be blessed by the god if you collect the Servant Gargoyle Eggs and burn them in the fire of Brazier.
Why don't you give it a shot since you got nothing to lose?
- Okay. (accepts the quest)
Turn-in: Brazier
A small but powerful flame is heating up the brazier.
- Burn the Gargoyle Egg
A little Fire Demon is swallowing the Gargoyle Egg.
- Pray for the blessings of the god. (completes the quest)
