Turn-in: Dion (Armor Dealer)

Oh my! Warrior!

What brings you to this place?

Is there something you want to tell me?

  • I want to learn about the Occupation of Machine Civilization.

Did you just say the Occupation of Machine Civilization?

Hmm...I shouldn't tell this story to everyone who asks...Haha! But I'll go ahead and tell you because it's you.

Have you heard of an ancient mechanical scientist named Dr. Grem?

While studying the field of mechanical science, he's pioneered field of biological mechanics which involves combining machines with human body parts...But then he faced with an unexpected problem.

  • What problem?

In the course of combining machines and human body cells, some of the cells mutated and the machines became so violent that they couldn't be controlled.

The situation was so serious that some ancient history books unearthed at the historical sites included records that describe how the machines occupied some of the city.

At least not too many of the machines had mutated cells, and they were able to contain the situation with the latest biochemical weapon that the ancient civilization had.

  • So, did Dr. Grem stop his research?

Well, officially, yes.

But Dr. Grem started working on biological mechanics because of his crippled son in the first place, and he hadn't achieved his goal yet at that time.

As soon as the situation was settled, Dr. Grem hid from the government and disappeared with his son. Since many of the research logs left by Dr. Grem are still found all over the historical sites, you can say that he continued his research.

These are all just speculations though. Ha-ha!

  • Okay. Thanks for telling me the story. (completes the quest)
