Oh, you came!

The weather is changing too often nowadays, don't you think?

Hmm? Is there something you want to say? Why are you twitching your lips like that? Ha-ha! Don't be shy, and just say the word.

• Umm...I want to learn about the Bloody Swamp.

The Bloody Swamp?

Hmm...So you must have opened a Quest Capsule too.

To me, the story about the Bloody Swamp is very painful and agonizing. It's something I've never told anyone for a long time and kept it to myself...Hmm...

• Does the story have anything to do with your family?

Ha-ha! You must be really curious.

Actually, I came from a primitive tribe living near the Mountain Engriff.

According to the story that I've heard from my Grandfather and Father, our forefather was too energetic to live inside the boundaries of a tribe.

So he ended up abandoning his tribe and went to work as a servant at a high ranking official's house in the world outside.

• It must have been a hard choice to make.

It's more like he didn't have any other choice. I mean there couldn't be much to do for a young man who's been living in a backwater primitive tribe for more than 20 years.

Still, he won the favor of the high ranking official with his outstanding wits and language skills, and he eventually became a secret government agent.

He was given the task of taking those with supernatural powers who were against the government to a concentration camp over the Mountain Engriff and watch them.

• Oh, it couldn't have been easy.

That's right. He didn't even know what those with supernatural powers did to deserve the painful life there, because he only did what his superiors told him to do.

Despite the fact that he was a watcher and they were being watched, doing horrible things to those with whom he spent so much together can be very painful.

At last, he managed to get out of the place while helping those with supernatural powers to escape...In the process, some of the ones with supernatural powers lost their lives while trying to break out of the place.

• Oh...what a story...

The muddy ground at the skirt of the Mountain Engriff was soaked in the blood of those with supernatural powers who lost lives at the time, and it was turned into a red swamp.

I was told that after that incident, he simply couldn't get over the scene he's witnessed in front of him. He was so agonized by the horrible sight he'd witnessed and suddenly disappeared at last.

His family tried to find him all over the place, but there was no way they could.

It's a really sad story for my family. Only if he remained in the primitive tribe for the rest of his life...Whew!

• If he really did that, I couldn't have met such a nice person like you.

Thanks for putting it that way. Ha-ha!

For a short while when I was young, I wandered around because I was so ashamed of my family history. But now, I think both the ones with supernatural powers and my forefather were all victims.

However, if I meet a descendant of those who were taken to the Red Land over the Mountain Engriff, I will ask for their forgiveness.

Don't you think that's the least I should do as a human? Whew...

• Don't blame yourself. Thank you for telling me your secret. (completes the quest)
