Turn-in: Sean (Guard)
Welcome! It's been a while since I last saw you.
What brings you to this place?
- I want to learn about the Bloody Soul.
Ha-ha! Another warrior just asked me about the Bloody Soul a moment ago, and here you're, asking the same question.
The Bloody Soul refers to a psychic member of a secret society called the Red Swamp Waves.
They say the society didn't have headquarters, which means only the leaders knew how big their organization is and what they were doing. The members were given the title of Bloody Soul after giving their oath of blood and loyalty.
- I see.
Right, Right.
They also say that even normal people who are not a psychic can be given the title of Bloody Soul as long as they give their oath of blood and loyalty.
So some of them included those who were ordered by the government to take the psychics to the concentration camp and watch them but felt guilty about it.
So the number of Bloody Souls increased as more people gave their oath of blood, and so did their influence. They were even ready to break down the government.
- So what happened?
Although their influence grew, it was no easy task to break down the government that plays the central role in this world.
On top of it, there were an increasing number of members with different reasons and interests, making it lose the power of unity...
So at the end the resolution of the Bloody Swamp Waves dulled down quickly due to the internal disagreements and conflicts of the Bloody Souls.
In a way, that's how a great disaster was prevented before the Great Destruction, but some people argue that the society could have stopped the Great Destruction if they didn't disband.
- So...that's what happened.
I'm telling you this because they're now things of the past, but I think it was a good thing the organization broke up.
It's because there is something shady about such secret society you know. I may be a tad bit too conservative, but I still think they're working in the shadows and not that fair and square..
Well...Anyway, this is just about everything I know about the Bloody Souls.
- Okay. Thank you. (completes the quest)
