The Upgrade Core (called Cristal de Mejora in the Spanish client of Cabal Latino) comes in five grades: Low, Medium, High, Highest and Ultimate. Between the five they add up to 87 entries in the drop table (the same chest or monster can repeat across grades; there are 54 distinct location-and-source combinations), split between dungeon chests, dungeon monsters and map monsters. What the Upgrade Core is and how it is used
According to the equipment upgrade guide, the Upgrade Core raises an item's upgrade level (+1, +2…): a +5 greatsword hits harder than a +3 one. Each item grade requires a matching core grade, so check your gear's grade before farming.
- How to apply it: from the inventory, right-click the core and then the item.
- Risk: the first levels are safe; past a certain point the upgrade can fail and the item drops a level or the core is lost. Don't do it on your only weapon without a spare.
- Priority: weapon first, then the suit (chest) and the helmet.
- Where it comes from: chests and monsters in dungeons and maps (below) and other players.

The chests of the four level 110 solo dungeons (Panic Cave, Steamer Crazy, Catacomb Frost and Lava Hellfire; 1 player, 20 to 25 minutes) drop High and Highest at 24.88% each: it is the most convenient way to farm those two grades without depending on a party. If you are also after Force Core or Slot Extender, the combined table is in most wanted drops.
Upgrade Core (Low): 11 locations
The Low grade (full item sheet) comes mostly from two dungeons: the chest in Tower of the Undead B1F (7 players, 120 minutes; level 55 in the weakened variant with Copy of Epaulet of the Dead, level 85 in the normal one with Epaulet of the Dead) and the monsters of Lake in Dusk (level 55, 7 players, 60 minutes, entry with Map Part).

About the Training Dummy: the server table registers it as a level 99 monster with 4 spawn points in each of the three level 1 maps (Bloody Ice, Desert Scream and Green Despair) and assigns it a 14% chance of Upgrade Core Low, Medium and High. We list it exactly as it comes in the data.
Upgrade Core (Medium): 10 locations
The Medium grade (full item sheet) has the chest with the highest drop rate in the whole family: Hazardous Valley (level 155, 1 player, 20 minutes, entry with Nearly-Hatching egg), 49.75%. Before that level you are left with Chaos Arena (from level 30) and Zigdris Faello in Lake in Dusk.

The High grade (full item sheet) is the grade with the most map monsters: besides the level 110 chests, it drops in Pontus Ferrum (level 140), Forgotten Ruin (level 95) and Lakeside (level 110), although the monsters that drop it there are level 180 to 195 with 1 or 2 spawn points.
