The Aura Mode must be learned first. In-game message: "Cannot open slot as current aura mode is not yet learned."

The Battle Aura is your character's unique Aura Code that you can obtain by doing a quest when your class rank reaches 2. You need 1 SP Lamp (5,000) to use it, and your abilities will significantly improve while it's effective.
Awakening Points
Slot levels are paid with Awakening Points; there are 230 in total.

Once slot 10 (Aura Mode Duration Increase) is learned, each open slot gets its bonus.
