Quest journal

You need a tool to pick up the thing inside the brazier. Check under the brazier to see if you can find something useful, like a long stick.
You have found a long bone. Let's rummage through the ashes within the brazier.
You have successfully picked up a Red Bead from the brazier. You might need to find another brazier with live coals in it to fully reheat the bead.
You have reheated the Red Bead, just a little bit, by putting it into the brazier. Let's see if you can find a different brazier that has live coals in it.
As you put the bead into the brazier, the bead has transformed and you know have the 'Tinderbox of the Dead'. Let's find a place where you can start a fire with it.
You lit the torch with the Tinderbox of the Dead. A key has appeared from within the fire, which is possibly used to open the closed gate.
As the key nears the gate, the gate shimmers and becomes an active warp gate.

Dialogue

A fire is blazing in the brazier.

There appears to be some sort of shiny bead underneath the fire.

Some type of tool seems to be needed to extract it.

Look for a tool that could be of use in the surrounding area. (accepts the quest)

Step 1: Bone Tomb

There are some long bones on the ground.

Take one and use it to probe the brazier.

Pick up a bone.

Step 2: Brazier

Using the bone to probe the brazier, I succeeded in extracting the shiny bead.

The red bead loses its lustre and grows cold as soon as it is taken out of the brazier.

It seems the bead must be subjected to fire again.

Step 3: Brazier

I placed the cold bead into the brazier.

The bead emits a slight warmth.

Look for a different brazier.

Step 4: Brazier

I placed the slightly warmed bead into the brazier.

The lustre begins to return slowly.

Look for a different brazier.

Step 5: Brazier

I placed the bead that has begun to shine into the brazier.

As the bead alights with flames, it turns into a Tinderbox of the Dead.

Take the tinderbox.

Step 6: Extinguished Torch

I place the Tinderbox of the Dead into the torch stand.

The torch stand burns briefly, and then a key appears in the place where the tinderbox lay after its flames went out.

It appears to be the key to some gate.

Step 7: Sealed Wall

I threw the key that I obtained into the swaying warp gate.

The gate begins to show an effect.

The key and black bead have disappeared.

It seems that I can now use this place.

The warp gate has become activated. (completes the quest)
