Dialogue

Offer: Henkoff (Officer)

Welcome.

A while ago, a dying adventurer entered Bloody Ice.

Before he died, he said that we must stop them whose power rivals that of the Lord of Destruction.

He also left an old journal.

  • An adventurer and his journal?
  • I'm not interested.

Others thought that he was a mere adventurer, but there's something about him that kept me thinking.

So I ordered my staff to investigate the adventurer and his journal.

  • Did you find out anything? (accepts the quest)

It turned out that he was a quite famous treasure hunter. He and his comrades discovered an ancient building that appeared to be built long before the Honorable Age.

The building was some kind of arena in which fighters compete with each other.

They couldn't explore the building farther

because they encountered a group of giant monsters in there.

  • A group of giant monsters?

He described in his journal, 'emerging under the bloodstained sky, they were none other than the monsters we knew.'

His journal ends with the following messages:

'We're the guardians of the perfect artifact.'

'The five names have one heart.'

'We're the effigies of fear that punish thieves of the artifact.'

  • What do they mean?

Those messages were confusing, so I had to ask archeologists for the analysis.

According to their conclusion, the arena was built by a clan of men that called themselves the 'Perfect Guardians.' They had been disappeared after stealing most of the 'Perfect Cores,' the essence of advanced technologies in the Honorable Age.

Their Arena was so strong that a group of Force Controllers were even unable to leave a scratch on it.

We've decided to call it Chaos Arena, the Coliseum of Chaos.

  • Chaos Arena....

After the discovery of the Chaos Arena, a rumor started to circulate that the owner of 'Perfect Cores' would rule the world. And it led both of the nations to decide to 'collect the Perfect Cores.'

In the meantime, they found out that this Bloody Ice has a connection to where the Clan of Perfect Guardians are.

So, they've used the C.A. Transmute theory and developed the 'Key of Chaos', which opens the Chaos Arena.

  • Chaos Key....

One of the developers, however, was worried about one of the nations keeping the Keys of Chaos all by themselves, so he scattered the keys all around Nevareth.

Lucky for you, I've found a few of them.

If you're interested, I'll give you one.

But each one of the key requires a different character level. Make sure to select one that suits you.

Once you find a suitable Chaos Key, exit through the gate next to Grocer Deighton. You'll find the connection to the arena easily.

  • Thanks. (completes the quest)
