Sound from the Volcanic Region

Sigh..

Oh! When did you come here?

Do you wonder why I am sighing?

As you know, this island was a small volcanic island.

And due to volcanic eruptions, this special management colony, Port Lux was created .

Yes, that's right. The place where Flame Hound and Dark Soldiers dwell! There presence is the vestige of volcanic eruption.

• Are your worries related to the volcanic nature of this island? (accepts the quest)

As you see, I live very close to the volcanic region.

So, boiling lava and cries of monsters are in fact very familiar to me because they were always present ever since I was dispatched here.

But since not long ago.. the exact date I cannot remember, I keep hearing sounds that I never have heard of before.

And because of this, I cannot sleep these days!

• You mean, you hear strange sounds?

Can't you hear this sound?

Please, listen to it more carefully.

It's an unusual sound. It seems that the sound is originated from down beneath the surface.

Well, I guess nobody can hear this besides me.

Anyway! The felt the sound really strange, I reported it to the officer after spending a couple of sleepless nights.

• What did the officer say?

The officer had no regard for this phenomenon because he also couldn't hear the sound I guess.

So, I bothered him each and every day to help me and so finally he called a researcher named Mr. Heil.

That Mr. Heil went to the volcanic area and came back with a stone. Calling me a weird girl, he handed the stone to me.

After that, smiling, he looked at the volcanic area and said, 'So, it has born,' and then he began to chuckle!

• What do you mean by 'born?'

I don't know either.

Since you are here, let me give you this ever-heated lava stone.

Mr. Heil said that you can enter the place called Lava Hellfire near the Stone Golem area with it, but I can't go there, can I?

How can a woman like me can go to such a dangerous.. you know..

Well I don't mean to cast my burden on you. Look at this stone, doesn't it look expensive? Give it an airing! Tee hee hee.

• I feel tricked somehow.. But I'll take the stone anyway. (completes the quest)
