Dialogue
Offer: Morison (Officer)
Veradrix is looking for you.
She doesn't even sleep these days. She just keeps reading...
I'm worried about her health.
Go inside the residence.
- Meet Veradrix. (accepts the quest)
Step 1: Veradrix
Welcome.
In the Mage's Book you brought from the Mage Guild's Laboratory, I found a part mentioning Fort. Ruina.
- Fort. Ruina?
Yes. You probably don't know.
Only the top officers of the Sage Tower know about Fort Ruina.
- I heard that the Mage Guild and Sage Tower are in bad terms.
It's true.
Those who rejected the idea of Sage Tower dominating force research performed their own independent research. That organization is the Mage Guild.
In conclusion, the Prometheus spy inside of the Sage Tower is a high officer of the Sage Tower, and he is closely related to the Mage Guild.
- High officer of Sage Tower is a spy...
Yes. If it's a high officer, it's someone I know...
I can't even imagine.
And I cannot find out the Blue Liquid Bottle's function.
It looks like a magic ingredient...
Go to Core Alchemist Yerte and ask if she knows anything about it.
- Take the blue liquid bottle.
Step 2: Yerte (Core Alchemist)
Yo~ Welcome.
You're doing good, right? Haha.
So, what brings you here?
- Do you know anything about this item?
Mm?
Where did you get this Blue Liquid Bottle?
Hm... I think this is an extract of the Minerals that come out as impurities when you dig out underground resources.
This liquid can weaken the Plant Clan monsters' power.
Mages can't make this himself.
- So he needs someone's help?
Yes.
In order to extract this liquid from minerals, you must use the special machine of the Metal Clan.
- Report what you heard from Yerte to Veradrix.
Turn-in: Veradrix
According to Yerte...
The Mage Guild made a deal with the Metal Clan, and they were creating an item to attack the Plant Clan.
- Next Dialogue
Mm...
I received a report in the past from the Green Despair officer that mages were attacked by the Plant Clan while collecting minerals at the Abandoned Mine of Bloody Ice.
Now I understand perfectly.
- So the mages are trying to steal the Plant Clan's Absolute Soul Core...?
Yes.
If Prometheus is behind the Mage Guild like Naain says, it makes sense that they are after Absolute Soul Core Piece.
Things are getting clearer now.
Prometheus... Their real identity...
- How fearsome. (completes the quest)
