Quest journal
Keep listening to what the officer says.
The story of G'ni of Fury and Fire is unfortunate, but it never should have happened.
Dialogue
Offer: Morison (Officer)
I heard that you've been going to the Illusion Castle Radiant Hall lately.
Entering such a dangerous castle...
I won't stop an adventurer like yourself, but I'm determined.
- Next story
- Just skip it for now.
I don't know that place very well, but I've heard about a creature called G'ni of Fury and Fire.
G'ni is like fire itself, like its name - Fury and Fire.
An ordinary person could never approach it. It's constantly summoning fireballs...
- A monster of fire... (accepts the quest)
What was G'ni like before?
There are a lot of theories out there, but I know for a fact that it was a god of fire.
G'ni used to have a daughter, but a warrior blinded by treasure killed her shamelessly.
Since then, G'ni has wanted to exact its revenge on humans. And so it is consumed in revenge and fury.
G'ni doesn't have any reason left. All that's left is the thought of revenge, which is what sparks its flames.
- The flames are G'ni's rage.
It's a sad story, but you can't take pity.
G'ni has taken the lives of more than a few victims.
If there's one thing you can learn from this story, it's that a truly strong warrior must also learn how to discipline their feelings.
