Turn-in: Cox (Warehouse Keeper)

Awww! I'm dead beat tired.

My whole body is aching.

Aren't you feeling the same? Ha-ha!

Guess not. You still look very energetic. So, what brought you to this place?

  • I want to learn about the God of Destruction.

The God of Destruction...

Not many people know about the God of Destruction.

They don't know who it refers to, or who it is. Ha-ha!

You won't be able to believe everything I'll tell you from now. Do you still want to listen to it?

  • Yes I do.

Would you believe that the God of Destruction is none other than Dr. Grem himself and that he was the one leading the machines to destroy the world with a gigantic mechanical body?

  • Dr. Grem?

I knew you would find it hard to believe...Ha-ha!

Dr. Grem's son died before he even had the chance to run around with the mechanical legs that Dr. Grem made for him.

It's because of greedy monsters that went after the Energy Chip.

Dr. Grem suddenly lost the reason for his existence right in front of his eyes, and he hardly knew what he was doing. He was a mad man, and he replaced his entire body with everything he's developed until then.

  • His entire body?

Yes. I can just imagine how painful it must have been.

I'm sure cutting open his flesh and joining mechanical parts to his bones and muscles were more painful than death itself.

But the pain was nothing compared to his sadness and anger over losing his son. So that's how he lost his human body and ego, and became a mad machine.

And at the end, he met his gruesome death as the giant machine connected to his body was shattered into hundreds of thousands of pieces.

  • It really is unbelievable.

See? I told you! Ha-ha!

It is unbelievable, isn't it? Hahahaha!

Actually I was just kidding. I made it up. Ha-ha! Did you really believe that?

  • Just kidding? This is no time to kid around!

Ha-ha! So many people reacted exactly the same way when they heard this story.

They would half believe it but then instantly change their mind when I tell them it's just a joke.

It's because most of us humans try to deny the demon inside us. And something like this becomes an uncomfortable truth.

Anyway, I don't lie. It's up to you to believe me or not. Ha-ha!

Ciao!

  • Okay, bye! (completes the quest)
