Dialogue

Offer: Abandoned House

Rin is looking for you.

Go inside. (accepts the quest)

Step 1: Rin

I've called for you because I forgot to tell you something.

What is it?

Before you told me about Silverwood, Veradrix was urgently looking for you and Sirius.

So Yuan escorted Sirius to Port Lux Residence.

It sounded really urgent. It may be somehow related to what Silverwood said.

I think you'd better go to Port Lux Residence.

Okay.

Step 2: Veradrix

Oh, warrior!

You came just in time!

Both Port Lux and Fort. Ruina are being attacked by monster clans right now.

I think...

Patren is finally running amok!

Tell him Silverwood's story.

What? What did you just say?

Oh, how can that be possible?

Dr. Faust and Saint Valentine are...

Sirius might know something about it.

Talk to Sirius.

Step 3: Sirius

Dr. Faust and Saint Valentine are...

Hmm...

Next Dialogue

Saint Valentine was the teacher of the first 7 Sages, and he was the wisest person in the ancient civilization.

He lost his life after sealing the Lord of Destruction for one thousand years...But he left the Book of Apocalypse, and that's how you got together.

What about Dr. Faust?

Dr. Faust was a genius scientist who existed before Saint Valentine's time, and he suddenly disappeared one day.

Just buzzing rumors were left...

Next Dialogue

One of the rumors was about the possibility that Dr. Faust and Saint Valentine are actually the same one.

It's because both of them were far more smarter and competent than anyone.

Next Dialogue

However, after the Great Destruction and a rumor spread that Dr. Faust will be resurrected as the Lord of Destruction, people stopped talking about the possibility of Saint Valentine and Dr. Faust being the same one.

And on top of it, Saint Valentine was the one who sacrificed his life to seal the Lord of Destruction...

Next Dialogue

But now that we have come to this, just as Patren is destined to become either the Wise King or the Lord of Destruction, I think Saint Valentine and Dr. Faust were also the Wise King and the Lord of Destruction.

Talk to Veradrix.

Step 4: Veradrix

Sirius and I will look into the origin of the Lord of Destruction one more time.

There is no time.

You must find Patren and stop him from running amok before he's fully awakened as the Lord of Destruction.

Next Dialogue

There is one place in Fort. Ruina that hasn't been attacked yet. It's Phantasmal Clan's Lair.

Okay.
Previous Dialogue

Step 5: Awakened Patren

Warrior...It's you, warrior...

Patren...You look...

I know... I look hideous...

There is not much time left.

I'll become more hideous.

I can't control the power I have.

Why am I destined for something like this?

Next Dialogue

Please take this Dagger.

Please use this on me if I completely become something else and start hurting those I love...

Receive the Dagger.

Ah... ah...

I'm being consumed by evil instinct...

Ahhhhhhhhhhh.

Patren~!!!!

Step 6: Veradrix

Patren finally became...

So does this mean that we, Stars of Light couldn't protect our king?

What should we do now?

I'm confused...

Hand over the Dagger that patren gave you.

Patren has left this Dagger...

It might be a present that Patren who now barery manages the battle with the Lord of Destrction has left for us.

It looks like this will be useful someday. I will hand it over to Sirius to keep it safely.

Yes, please do so.

There is one more bad news.

I was told that Silverwood escaped.

I think it was because of the side effects of the Sap of Truth. Even Mystic Blade couldn't stop him...

It looks like things are getting worse on each turn.

But we should all try a little harder. (completes the quest)
