Dialogue
Offer: Miles (Guard)
Wait, hold on a minute!
Hear me out.
My head hurts... It's driving me crazy.
- What's wrong?
- So sorry, but I'm a tad busy at the moment...
I haven't been able to get in touch with my younger brother.
... That little scamp was a guard, too.
I never thought anything bad would ever happen to our family.
No, no, I mustn't lose hope. I'm sure he's okay, right?
- He'll be fine. Don't worry about it.
Sure, sure. This isn't a big deal.
Still and all, I can't help but be a bit worried.
Would you mind helping me out?
- How can I be of help?
Well, the scamp was a Pontus Ferrum scout.
Our mother gave him an amulet before he left as a keepsake while wishing him a safe return.
If you find him, get our Mother's Amulet from him and bring it to me.
I'll consider it proof that the guy intends to return to us. And it will put our mother at ease.
- I understand. I'll be sure to tell him what you said. (accepts the quest)
Step 1: Fallen Amulet
Something was dropped behind this broken experiment equipment.
Ah, this is definitely the Mother's Amulet that Miles mentioned.
For it to have just been dropped like this...
It doesn't bode well.
Hopefully nothing seriously wrong has happened.
I'll bring it back to Miles for now.
- Take it and go.
Step 2: Miles (Guard)
Ah, you're back.
It seemed like you took forever to return.
How's the little scamp, anyway?
- Ah, well ... I couldn't find him, to be honest.
What? You didn't meet him?
Then, the amulet I requested?
You fool, didn't I tell you to leave no stone unturned looking for my brother?
- Hand over the amulet you picked up.
Oh... What's this?
Where did you find it?
Didn't you just say you weren't able to meet with him?
- I couldn't find him. I just ... found it on the ground by itself.
What?
Ah, surely nothing bad has happened, right?
No, he's fine.
I believe... that scamp will turn up eventually...
This isn't the time to be idle. I better head out now and find him.
I'll see you later!
